Get connected in about two minutes

Choose your device. You'll need an active plan and the free AmneziaVPN app.

Native PadVPN apps are coming soon. Until then, use the free, open-source AmneziaVPN app, which fully supports our main protocol. Your personal configuration comes from your PadVPN hub → Devices. On a network that blocks it, use a backup connection.

Android

  1. Install AmneziaVPN from Google Play, or download the APK from amnezia.org.
  2. On this phone, sign in to your hub, tap Add device and choose Android.
  3. Tap Get config, choose a location, then Download (or scan the QR code from another screen).
  4. In AmneziaVPN, tap + → File with connection settings (or QR code) and select it.
  5. Tap Connect and allow the VPN request.

iPhone & iPad

  1. Install AmneziaVPN (or AmneziaWG) from the App Store.
  2. On a computer, open your hub, add a device (iPhone/iPad) and click Get config.
  3. In the app, tap + → QR code and scan the code on screen.
  4. Tap Connect, then Allow when iOS asks to add VPN configurations.

Windows

  1. Download the AmneziaVPN installer for Windows from amnezia.org and run it.
  2. In your hub, add a device (Windows), click Get config, choose a location and click Download .conf.
  3. In AmneziaVPN, click + → File with connection settings and open the downloaded file.
  4. Click Connect.

macOS

  1. Install AmneziaWG from the Mac App Store, or AmneziaVPN from amnezia.org.
  2. In your hub, add a device (macOS), click Get config and download the file.
  3. In AmneziaWG choose Import tunnel(s) from file; in AmneziaVPN click + → File with connection settings.
  4. Click Activate / Connect and allow the VPN configuration when macOS asks.

Linux

  1. Install the AmneziaVPN desktop app from amnezia.org, or the amneziawg-tools package for the command line.
  2. Download your .conf file from the hub.
  3. App: import the file and connect. Command line: save it as /etc/amnezia/amneziawg/padvpn.conf and run sudo awg-quick up padvpn.

Routers

  1. Your router needs AmneziaWG support. OpenWrt has a community amneziawg package; Keenetic supports it in recent firmware.
  2. Add a device of type Router in your hub and download its config.
  3. Create a new AmneziaWG interface and paste the values from the file, including the Jc, Jmin, Jmax, S1, S2 and H1–H4 parameters.
  4. Need help? Email [email protected] with your router model.
Restricted networks

If AmneziaVPN can't connect

Your plan includes backup connections designed for heavily filtered networks.

  1. In your hub → Devices, click Subscription on your device and copy the link.
  2. Install the latest version of a compatible app: v2rayNG or Hiddify on Android, Streisand on iPhone, v2rayN on Windows or Mac. Older versions can't connect to Reality.
  3. Add the link as a subscription, then choose a location ending in Reality. Use CDN only if Reality doesn't connect; it's slower.

Keep your subscription link private. Compatible apps refresh it automatically, so new locations appear on their own. If our website is blocked, link Telegram under Account in your hub beforehand, so our bot can send you working links.

Troubleshooting

Not connecting?

Try these in order. Most problems are fixed by step 2 or 3.

1. Check your plan and device

Sign in to your hub. Make sure your plan is active and you haven't reached your data limit for this cycle, and that the device still appears in your device list.

2. Try another location

Get a config for a different location and connect to that. If one location is temporarily offline, its status shows on the locations page.

3. Try another network or a backup connection

Some public and office Wi-Fi networks block all UDP traffic. Try mobile data or another Wi-Fi to see whether the network is the cause, or use a backup connection.

4. Connected, but some sites won't load

This is usually a packet-size (MTU) issue on your network. Our configs use a conservative MTU of 1280. If problems remain, tell support which sites fail.

5. Make sure you use an AmneziaWG-capable app

The standard WireGuard app can't read our obfuscation settings and won't connect. Use AmneziaVPN or AmneziaWG.
